Position Summary
We’re looking for a Shopify Front-End Developer with 2 years of experience to join our remote team. You’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to improve and maintain Shopify storefronts for a wide range of e-commerce clients. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implement responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs with clean, semantic mark-up
- Maintain and enhance existing storefronts without compromising functionality
- Collaborate with the team on planning, problem-solving, and feature implementation
- Debug and optimize front-end performance and codebase efficiency
Required qualifications
2 years of front-end development experience, ideally in a structured e-commerce environment (8+ employees)Solid knowledge of JavaScript , including DOM manipulation and asynchronous programming-Strong skills in HTML / CSS , including responsive design and cross-browser compatibilityComfortable working with Git and standard version control workflowsStrong problem-solving ability—able to debug issues and optimize existing codeAbility to learn independently and bring fresh ideas to the tableClear and professional communication skills; able to work across cultures and time zonesNice to have (not mandatory)
Deep understanding of native browser APIs and advanced DOM manipulationFamiliarity with build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similarExperience with API integrations (REST or GraphQL)Testing mindset, with exposure to unit and integration testingExperience using AI tools like Cursor or ChatGPT to boost productivityWhat we offer
