Manager, Products and SolutionsSummary of the Role
Consumer Products Manager will be responsible for driving sales and end-to-end implementation of multiple consumer products / solutions (debit, premium, credit) with key customers in Turkey and Azerbaijan cluster. Also, this role will serve as a bridge between various stakeholders (both internal and external) and manage strategic projects in given countries aimed to ensure successful execution of Mastercard strategy to drive significant revenue and share growth.
Consumer Products Manager will work closely with Account Managers and customers to identify opportunities to leverage specific Mastercard products and platforms to grow the customer and MasterCard's revenues, while meeting strategic product objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Driving the development and execution of Mastercard consumer products strategy aimed at increasing sales of Mastercard products and, as a result, Mastersard share
- Managing individual projects to ensure project execution on time. Coordinating key project stakeholders within and outside the company (For example, implementation of the new premium strategy; rolling out the new debit strategy. Key internal stakeholders : GP&S, Pricing and Interchange Teams, Account Management, Advisors, Market Development. External stakeholders : issuers and non-financial institutions, external vendors, government entities etc) Interacting with strategically important banks and merchants to sell products and support implementation
- Understanding and supporting development of customers’ product strategy and positioning Mastercard offerings in it
- Working with vendors / suppliers to support product sales
- Ongoing monitoring of the market situation and definition of new opportunities
- Identifying x-functional opportunities, performing assessment of feasibility and business rationale
- Sharing of consumer products best practices as part of a pre-sales consulting approach to business development
- Active participation in the customer planning process led by the Country and Account Manager
- Communication & coordination with product development team to highlight product innovation opportunities emerging from customer segments
- Representing Mastercard at internal and external forums / conferences
- Execution of market research to understand customer needs
Qualifications and Experience
8+ years’ experience in the financial services, payments business or consultingStrong business development experienceManagement (people and projects), problem solving, analytical and organizational experienceDeep knowledge of payment systems' marketSkills and Competencies
Excellent writing and presentation skills, extensive experience in communicating in international environment at senior management levelStrong negotiation and influencing skills – with ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization from senior level executives to individual contributorsOrganization and time management skills; ability to multi-taskBusiness judgement and strategic planning skillsStrong self-starter and motivatorBusiness Case development, including financial analyticsSolid solution development skills and effective working both independently and in a team environmentTeam player, with excellent inter-personal skills, but also able to effectively work aloneLanguages : English, Turkish mother tongueTravel requiredBS / BA required, MBA preferred
