What you’ll do

  • Define Vodafone Turkey Government Sales Department’s strategy in-line with company strategies so that Vodafone Turkey achieves its objectives
  • Lead the team (Government Sales Management) for achieve sales against defined targets and objectives
  • Build long term growth strategy and execution plan
  • Manages the sales pipeline with a disciplined forecasting methodology to ensure sales targets are achieved
  • Ensure that the assigned sectors and customers are fully utilized in terms of Vodafone products and services ( mobile, fixed and solutions)
  • Evaluate deal profitability using financial controls and analysis, tools provided by the company
  • Attracts and enables sales talents to grow by creating opportunities in sales team
  • Ensures the team is motivated and that accounts and opportunities are allocated to maximize revenue growth
  • Ensures diversity and attrition targets within sales teams are met
  • Guarantees team’s compliance with Sales methods & tools ( SFDC quality) to ensure alignment with other teams and functions
  • Develop new business through public procurement bid tenders, new sources of funding and by utilizing partner ecosystem
  • Being the face of Vodafone in communication with public institutions and organizations such as ICTA (BTK)

Who you are

  • University degree
  • Experience in Telecommunication sector and government sales
  • Min. 10+ years of experience in sales management
  • Min 5+ years of sales management experience in government industry
  • Ability to think strategically and drive transformational sales programmes for the team
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good team management skills
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills both in English
  • Able to deal with a rapidly changing environment and able to lead change where necessary
  • Capable of working for projects in a matrix-organisation
