Finance Team Lead

Job descriptionManage and develop cross-functional finance team members across multiple disciplines Drive performance management and development initiatives Lead change management efforts and process optimization projects Mentor finance professionals and build organizational capabilities Foster collaborative, high-performance teamwork Partner with senior management on strategic financial planning and analysis Conduct comprehensive risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies Drive process improvement and operational best practices implementation Provide strategic insights to support business decision-making Handle complex strategic initiatives with an interdisciplinary approach Manage relationships with external auditors, banking partners, and investors Ensure regulatory compliance and manage tax authority interactions Lead cross-departmental collaboration initiatives Present financial insights to executive leadership and board members Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Business Administration Minimum 10 years of progressive business and finance experience, preferably in the energy sector Proven track record of success in finance leadership positions Experience managing subsidiary companies and international operations Advanced knowledge of financial accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS) Expertise in financial consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting Strong understanding of treasury management and risk assessment Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Turkish Strong presentation and reporting capabilities Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building skills Solution-oriented approach with strong analytical mindset Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities Strategic thinking combined with operational execution excellence Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills Adaptability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment Cultural sensitivity and experience working in international business settings Strong change management and process improvement skills Proven ability to develop and mentor finance professionals High level of confidentiality and professional integrity Excellent self-motivation and flexibility in fast-paced environments Private health insurance for employees Meal card and transportation support A permanent role with opportunities for professional growth Collaborative and supportive working environment in Essen

Financial Operations Management
- Lead financial statement preparation and consolidation processes for power generation assets
- Oversee comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Manage treasury operations including cash management, risk assessment, and capital structure optimization for energy infrastructure investments
- Ensure robust internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Supervise management accounting and cost control systems
- Direct the company's transaction processing systems
- Manage capital request and budgeting processes
- Provide financial oversight for subsidiary companies and foreign operations
