The Account Director plays a crucial role in the Client Services department, responsible for managing relationships with large and critical clients across various sectors and industries. This role requires a fast learner who can deeply understand the essence of each client's core business, regardless of the industry type. The Account Director oversees project management, client servicing, and client care, driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling strategies. This position demands exceptional project management skills and the ability to maintain strong internal communication with all departments and external communication with clients. The Account Director also mentors other team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact and liaison.
- Understand client needs and objectives to deliver tailored media solutions.
- Provide exceptional client service to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects from conception to final execution, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including BD, creative, digital marketing, PR, technology, and production, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Track project budgets, ensure projects stay within budget, and work to reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct quality assurance before delivering to the client.
- Ensure all client interactions and deliverables reflect the brand’s values and objectives.
- Provide personalized service and exceptional project execution to maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Generate sales for client accounts by developing and implementing upsell and cross-sell strategies.
- Work closely with the Business Development team on new business opportunities, contributing to revenue growth through targeted strategies and tailored media services and solutions.
- Introduce innovative ideas, service offerings, and initiatives to existing clients and attract new clients to increase revenue streams.
- Develop strategic plans for client accounts, aligning them with ID8 Media’s business objectives and goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather sub-strategies and develop comprehensive account strategies.
- Participate in the development and submission of major proposals and tenders to increase project acquisition opportunities.
- Support the entry into new geographic markets to tap into new revenue opportunities.
- Streamline workflows and processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency without compromising quality.
- Implement best practices in project management and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure operational excellence and consistency in service delivery.
- Enhance the ID8 Media brand by consistently delivering high-quality, impactful media solutions and campaigns.
- Increase brand visibility through strategic marketing, partnerships, and participation in major industry events.
- Contribute to the company’s efforts to win world-class trophies and awards, demonstrating excellence and innovation.
- Work with internal departments and teams on projects, clearly explaining clients' visions and requirements.
- Ensure all teams' work aligns with clients' visions, requirements, and needs, making sure all deliverables are aligned with the scope of work within the signed contract.
- Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for all projects, detailing progress, improvements, achievements, risks, budget tracking, and other relevant details.
- Accurately receive and deliver client feedback to internal teams to ensure necessary changes and amendments are made.
- Work closely with the Business Development department to generate and manage leads.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and other sales-related documents in collaboration with Business Development.
- Assist in the strategic planning and execution of business development initiatives to attract new clients and expand market presence.
- Conduct surveys and collect feedback from clients during and after the delivery of projects to gauge their satisfaction with the services received.
- Collect data constructively to ensure accuracy and use this information to compare with departmental goals and objectives.
- Analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with the department's overall goals and objectives.
- Proactively identify potential issues, conflicts, or crises that may arise within client accounts and develop contingency plans to address them.
- Address and resolve issues, conflicts, or crises promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to the client relationship and project timelines.
- Maintain clear and open communication with clients during crises to manage expectations and provide reassurance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to implement solutions and manage crisis response efforts efficiently.
- Conduct post-crisis evaluations to analyze the effectiveness of the response and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the PR team to protect the reputation of both the agency and the client by managing public relations and communication strategies during and after a crisis.
- Ensure all actions taken during a crisis adhere to the agency's ethical standards and client confidentiality agreements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent of 3-4 years of additional experience.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Additional certifications in digital marketing or CRM tools are a plus.5-7 years in project or product management or related fields.4-6 years in media, PR, marketing, or digital marketing industries, or related fields.Proven leadership experience in leading project teams and managing senior-level client relationships.Experience in developing and implementing project strategies that align with client business goals.Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in project management tools and a deep understanding of digital marketing tools and methodologies.Strong experience in presenting to and negotiating with high-level stakeholders.Fluency in English and Arabic is required; proficiency in Turkish is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
