We are looking for a teammate with the following qualifications to be assigned as a “Sustainability Specialist” in the field of Home in the Sustainability Department in the Levent office of our overseas client. Our client is a leading company in the textile industry based in Spain.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree
- Passion for human rights
- Maintains integrity and takes a clear ethical approach and stance
- Excellent communication skills and self-motivation
- Strong analytical, problem solving and follow up skills
- Adaptable and flexible, adjusting to multiple demands, multi-tasking
- Having an interest in local and international labour laws
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player and communicate effectively at all levels within an organization
- Strong professional skills including the development of reports and presentations
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluency in English
- B driving licence.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Support, monitoring and search for alternatives to the most consumed fibers in the country, for options considered Best in the Brand strategyMonitoring and support in the certification requested from suppliers to achieve the fiber planMonitoring and support suppliers to understand and implement changes necessaries to achieve the Brand's objectivesTraining, analysis and prior review of the status of new suppliers to assess necessary corrections before the openingMonitoring of the opening processMonitoring of social and environmental auditsDevelopment, support and monitoring of corrective action plans for suppliers, guaranteeing change and improvement based on Brand’s requirementsKnowledge in environmental topics like waste management, chemical risk assessment and energy / water consumptions is a plus.WHO ARE WE!
