Our client is one of the premier suppliers of industrial group and delivering the highest quality of products and services in the sector. Due to new opportunities, they are currently looking for an; “Financial Reporting Specialist”.

QUALIFICATIONS

University degree or higher education in finance or accounting

Min 5 years in accounting and finance in international companies

2-3 years of Accounts payable / Accounts receivable accounting experience

English – written and ability to hold meetings, video and telephone conferences and presentations

Advanced Excel knowledge

Knowledge of Turkish Tax, Turkish Accounting Standards and IFRS

CPA is a plus

Excellent communication skills

JOB DESCRIBTION

Responsible for accuracy and timing of month-end closing of operations and entries

Performing accounting in accordance with Turkish Statutory Regulations, IFRS, Local requirements within subject area

Responsible for controlling & supporting day to day accounting activities in accordance with the chart of accounts (Local and IFRS)

Coordinates general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts

Supporting, controlling and monitoring G&L Account Team in respective areas

Responsible for controlling & supporting Fixed Asset register,

Responsible for controlling & supporting inventory and cost accounting

Responsible for controlling & performing intercompany reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis,

Optimization and standardization of G&L processes

Work with Business controllers and other team members to identify process improvement and efficiency opportunities

Control period end closing,

Project management : actively participate and sometimes lead the internal accounting and reporting projects, including international ones
