The Opportunity

ROLE PURPOSE :

The Human Resources (HR) Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive support and coordination across the full range of HR processes within the Save the Children Türkiye Country Office. Working closely with the HR and Administration (HRAD) team, line managers, and relevant stakeholders, the HR Officer plays a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of HR services, including recruitment, onboarding, personnel administration, learning and development, and staff wellbeing.

This position contributes to the implementation of HR and administrative initiatives that are aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities and values. The HR Officer will ensure compliance with internal policies, local labor laws, and global standards, while supporting the development of a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

In order to be successful, you will bring / have :

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resource management and / or Business Administration or any other relevant discipline
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Turkish.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated excellent skills in planning, coordination, and reporting skills, with the ability to organise a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities.
  • Proven operational HR or Admin experience of providing a generalist HR and Admin service to staff and colleagues across a full range of HR and Admin issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Cultural sensitive, with proven interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate across diverse cultures and geographical distances
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in partnership with others
  • Good Computer skills working with MS Office Packages especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and strong ability to take initiative.
  • Good facilitation skills and ability to deliver induction briefing / training
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Experience in working with INGOs will be an asset

Position holder will be based in İstanbul , therefore legal right to work in Türkiye is necessary at the time of application. Applications will be evaluated in a rolling basis.
