Junior QA Engineer - Remote

Do you envision shaping the future of all home services in one of the fast-growing tech startups based in Dubai?   Come onboard and dedicate yourself to becoming #everydaybetter!     Take over a key role as a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer in the Engineering department, and be a part of this exciting adventure of never-ending growth and success.    What we expect from you Conduct manual testing on the  engineering team deliverables Support test automation engineers to enhance test coverage and reduce manual workload, when necessary Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and address issues during development and testing phases Design, execute, and maintain test cases, scenarios, and scripts Report and track bugs, ensuring issues are resolved promptly Ensure testing processes align with the team’s quality standards and best practices Perform regression testing to verify the stability of the system after updates Analyze and communicate testing results, providing insights for improvement Work closely with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end testing Test and validate backend system functionalities with a focus on PHP and Java environments Review and update testing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness Manage and prioritize tasks to meet established SLAs and project deadlines Proactively identify areas of improvement in testing processes and recommend solutions Support and guide team members in understanding and implementing QA practices   What we are looking for Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field +2 years of experience in manual software testing Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test processes, and best practices Basic to intermediate coding knowledge in Java, or other programming languages Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English, to collaborate across teams effectively Experience working in an agile, fast-paced, startup-like environment Motivation to learn automated test engineering Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues, providing clear and actionable feedback Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure testing thoroughness Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team to meet project goals Familiarity with backend testing and understanding technical engineering workflows   PERKS OF BEING A PART of JUSTLIFE Nothing would replace the start-up spirit, working with an evolving culture and fulfilling workplace !
