Overview

Electric and Instrumentation Works Section Chief to join a large-scale industrial project in the Ust Luga Region of Russia. As a company known for delivering international-scale projects, we seek professionals who will play a key role in supporting the project in the field and in engineering processes outside the construction site. This role will lead all electrical activities on-site, manage subcontractors and field teams, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project standards in a large-scale industrial project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for all electrical works within the given scope
  • Management and administration of the field teams and subcontractors under charge
  • Daily tracking of labor-hour efficiency in electrical works activities, with weekly reporting to the superiors and technical office
  • Checking materials before and during the installation / construction phase
  • Ensuring coordination of materials and applications
  • Ensuring that subcontractors and field teams work by occupational safety rules during the installation / construction process
  • Approval of the installation / construction made and reporting of non-conforming productions
  • Checking subcontractors’ quantity survey and progress payments reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field of Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience
  • Experience in project and site management in Power & Heat, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
  • Experience in electrical works in big scale industrial projects
  • Advanced knowledge of industry standards and regulations (ASME, EN) related to electrical works in industrial projects; familiarity with Russian standards and regulations (GOST) is a big plus
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Russian is preferred
  • Ability to work and lead well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
