Job Summary

Analyze and monitor production costs to ensure efficient use of resources and accurate cost reporting.

Identify cost variances and work with relevant departments (production, procurement, finance) to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Ensure the production cost data is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with financial and operational reporting requirements.

Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.

Ensure cost-related insights are integrated into business decisions by providing regular analysis and reports to management.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of costing practices and promote cost awareness across the organization.

Responsibilities

Managing and tracking payment processes for three different group companies

Executing accounting operations via the LOGO ERP system.

Providing documentation and data support for internal and external audit processes

Assisting in the preparation of various financial reports

Reporting directly to the Country Finance Manager

Accountability

Is accountable for the accuracy of production cost reporting and the integrity of cost data in financial systems

Is accountable for key cost performance indicators (KPIs), such as cost variance analysis, cost reduction targets, and margin improvement tracking

Key interfaces : strong partnership to be built with

i) Operations – to understand production processes and efficiency

ii) Sales – to assess cost impact on pricing and profitability

v) Purchasing – to track material cost trends and savings opportunities

Competencies and experience

Key competencies

LOGO knowledge is a must

Fluent in written and spoken English

Solid understanding of accounting and finance processes

Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking skills

Team player with effective communication skills

Prior experience in financial reporting and audits is a strong asset

Providing support in the preparation and follow-up of VAT refund processes.

Ideal background / experience

University Degree, Business School or equivalent experience

3 – 5 years experience in accounting and financial reporting

Preferably SAP Knowledge
