Join our client, a global leader in digital gaming solutions for lotteries , and help organizations engage new players and achieve sustainable growth. As a Front End Software Architect, you will be responsible for the high-level design and architectural aspects, shaping the overall direction of front-end development. This involves making high-level decisions regarding technology choices, design patterns, and ensuring that the overall front-end structure aligns with the business goals and requirements. The role is a hands-on role, writing code daily to prove concepts and designs in order to establish best practices and guidelines for the development teams, and plays a pivotal role in translating business requirements into provable technical solutions, ensuring that the front-end systems are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry standards.

This is you

• 7-8 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role
• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful front-end solutions
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript, including expertise in React (preferred) and familiarity with other modern front-end frameworks (e.g. NextJS, Vue.js)
• Experience designing for and working on a wide variety of client-side applications, including for mobile such as Android, iOS, or React Native would be a big plus
• Strong emphasis on code quality and adherence to software engineering principles
• Experience working on client applications within a high load cloud service based architectural environment would be a plus
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and practices for front-end code
• Experience in optimizing applications for speed, scalability, accessibility and multiple form factors
• Demonstrated ability in technical leadership and mentoring junior developers
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
