Job Description

• Manage the full lifecycle of international events, from initial concept to post-event evaluation, across key markets in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.
• Lead and coordinate a team of Event Managers, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and execute event strategies aligned with the organisation's objectives and global positioning, delivering measurable outcomes.
• Manage relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, and partner organisations to ensure alignment and fulfillment of commitments.
• Oversee venue and supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting to ensure value, reliability, and quality of service.
• Oversee speaker engagement, VIP agenda planning, and delegate experience.
• Manage event budgets, maintaining cost control while safeguarding quality and impact.
• Lead branding, messaging, and marketing initiatives related to events, ensuring consistency with the organisation's standards.
• Define and track KPIs for logistics, attendee satisfaction, sponsor ROI, and team performance.
• Serve as the main liaison for C-level executives and key stakeholders during planning and delivery.
• Support the professional development of team members, fostering accountability, skill growth, and high performance.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in international event management, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven success in managing large-scale, high-level conferences and private events across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience working with HNWIs, government institutions, diplomatic entities, or international organisations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and motivating diverse, high-performing teams.
• Excellent project management, budgeting, and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills, with confidence liaising at senior levels.
• Full professional fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to Europe, North America, and Asia.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong ownership mindset.
