Your Tasks – What You can expect as Procurement Specialist ?

  • Track material purchase requisitions (PRs), issue purchase orders (POs) in the system, place POs with suppliers, provide PO confirmations, and arrange shipments as needed
  • Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival at the plant
  • Nominate forwarders for PO shipments and manage road, ocean, and air transportation for import operations
  • Perform daily updates in the SAP system
  • Ensure the import team receives a complete set of shipping documents and original sets on time
  • Maintain strategic supplier relationships from an operational perspective
  • Manage PO distribution with an emphasis on optimizing landed cost allocation through consolidation and other methods
  • Handle procurement activities specific to the ink and coatings industry, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

    • Your Profile – What do You bring as Procurement Specialist ?

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Excellent communicator, team player, dynamic, goal-oriented, highly flexible, and hardworking
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in procurement or a related field
  • Experienced in Procurement and Supply Chain Management functions, preferably as a planner
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and excellent negotiation skills
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English
  • Proficiency in SAP is essential
  • Familiarity with the ink and coatings industry is a plus
